Meet Sarah Bratt
Sarah Cauldwell Bratt, APN, WHNP, B-C
Sarah Bratt, APN joined Dr. Mark Gapinski’s practice located at Northwestern Medicine’s Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL in 2016. Before starting at Dr. Gapinski’s office she worked as an Advanced Practice Nurse for Advocate Dryer Medical Clinic. Sarah spent 4 years working alongside surgeons specializing in Breast Health and 6 years providing care in the Obstetrics and Gynecology office. Sarah also spent 2 years as Instructor of Nursing at College of DuPage. Prior to receiving her degree as an Advanced Practice Nurse she was employed as a Labor & Delivery Nurse for 7 years at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL.
Sarah received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1993. Upon returning to school she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing at Northern Illinois University in 2000. While practicing as a Labor & Delivery Nurse she went on to achieve her Master’s Degree in Nursing at Loyola University Chicago in 2007. Sarah is nationally certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner through National Certification Corporation (NCC).
Sarah’s easy going personality and passion for women’s health shines through in her patient relationships. As a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner in a small office she knows the importance of upholding long lasting personal bonds with her patients throughout their obstetrical and gynecological care while consistently delivering excellent care.
Sarah grew up in Minnesota and enjoys traveling (domestically and internationally), cooking, and knitting & sewing. Her office mates enjoy when she brings baked goods to the office! When she is not caring for patients she can be found spending time with her husband, 2 sons and their dog, Kylo-Ren.
