Meet Megan Polson

Megan Polson, DNP, FNP
Meg Polson is a family nurse practitioner and joined our practice in the fall of 2025. Prior to working with us, Meg worked with Northwestern’s Maternal Fetal Medicine group, specializing in high-risk pregnancy. Her experience also includes working at Access Community Health where she gained a strong knowledge base and years of experience in managing chronic illnesses, weight management, mental health, and women’s health issues. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Meg was a labor and delivery nurse at Rush University Medical Center.
Meg received a bachelors in business from Michigan State University then decided to pursue a career in medicine. She completed a general masters in nursing at Rush University in 2012. While working as a L&D nurse, she completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice becoming an ANCC board-certified family nurse practitioner in 2016.
Meg’s high energy, positivity, and open mind make her a great fit for our team. She is an active listener and always puts her patients needs first. She credits these attributes to her crazy life raising four daughters and lots of family adventures. When she is not seeing patients here, you can find her on the soccer fields of Ackerman, cooking, traveling, or training for a race.
